INSTRUCTIONS FOR VIEWING EVENTS AND SEARCHING FOR SEMINARS

VIEWING SEMINARS

To view full details of a seminar click on the seminar title on the calendar. A different popup box will show up. You MUST have popups enabled on your web browser.

If you are using Google Chrome try the following:

  • Open Chrome.
  • At the top right, click More Settings.
  • At the bottom, click Advanced.
  • Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.
  • Click Pop-ups and redirects.
  • At the top, turn the setting to Allowed or Blocked.

SEARCHING

To search for the Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia seminar by state, please click on bottom right corner of your screen and enter the state you are searching for.

The NCCDP seminar tool will search for any seminars posted on the calendar for the state you have selected. You can also scroll month by month for a complete listing of seminars.

Associations hosting the NCCDP Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Seminar at their state or national conference will also be posted on the seminar calendar but you will register for the seminar directly with the Association.

CHECK BACK FOR MORE SEMINARS

If you do not see a seminar posted for your state, please check back as the instructors are loading new seminars through out the year. Or contact the instructor listed for state you are seeking a seminar by searching through our FIND AN INSTRUCTOR database. Or contact NCCDP using the CONTACT US FORM or calling 1 877 729 5191 about bringing the seminar to your facility or conference.

Be aware that NCCDP approved trainers will never ask for your birth date or social security number when paying for classes. If this should happen, please alert our office immediately.

Only in situations where the instructor is offering the Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia seminar through a college or trade school or technical school, the instructor may ask for necessary information that the college will require as part of the college registration process. If you have any questions regarding information that the college requires, please direct those questions to the Trainer / Instructor or the college.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR TRAINERS TO POST EVENTS

You must be a registered trainer in good standing in order to ADD to this calendar.

INSTRUCTIONS for ADDING WORKSHOPS TO THE NCCDP CALENDAR OF EVENTS

NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE COOKIES ENABLED ON YOUR WEB BROWSER.

1) LOGIN

Go to https://portal.nccdp.org/login

When you log in, you will be taken to the membership dashboard that includes the following:

  • Links to the various sections of the members-only section found at the top of the page
  • Link to the instructors only section
  • Link to the seminar calendar and add seminar events page
  • Link to your profile page where you can change your contact information and password

2) ADD EVENT

From the seminars link at the top menu bar, click on SEMINAR EVENTS.

Click on the ADD SEMINAR EVENT button.

You will find that this section is very similar to the old add seminar event form. After you complete the form, your seminar will be posted on the calendar.

HOW TO DELETE OR EDIT EVENT POSTINGS

1) LOGIN

2) GO TO THE DATE OF YOUR EVENT AND CLICK ON THE EVENT TITLE

3) TO EDIT THE EVENT, CLICK ON THE EDIT LINK

Enter your changes and click on UPDATE EVENT button

4) TO DELETE THE EVENT, CLICK ON THE DELETE LINK

Click on the CONFIRM link to finalize deleting the event.

These links are located at the bottom of the form.

5) TO MARK THE EVENT "SOLD OUT" check the Sold Out check box

CANCEL AND EVENT

TO CANCEL AN EVENT,

Open up your event and add the words CANCELLED to your event title.
